Marmion Academy Celebrates Student Leadership Award Winners

LEAD Awards 2026

Marmion Academy proudly recognized students for their outstanding leadership, character, and commitment to the community at this year’s L.E.A.D. awards ceremony on Friday, April 17, 2026.

ABBOT MARMION AWARD for Spiritual Leadership
Andres Alvarez
Awarded to the student who demonstrates spiritual leadership through involvement with spiritual growth groups, retreats, liturgy, and more importantly, through their life example.
WILLIAM J. DICKSON SR. AWARD for Outstanding Citizenship
Ali Tharwani
Awarded to the student who demonstrates the highest ideals of character and citizenship and is involved with many extracurricular activities to make a positive difference both here at Marmion and in the community.
FATHER PETER ENDERLIN AWARD for Outstanding Leadership
Nicholas Garcia
Awarded to the student who has earned the respect of his peers and the entire school community by being a great example for all to follow. This student exhibits leadership through integrity, passion, enthusiasm, discipline and a positive attitude.

    For demonstrating strong understanding of others and building meaningful relationships.

    For leading by example and allowing personal values to guide actions.
  • Back-Patter Award – Nicholas Garcia
    For building strong, positive relationships and leading others effectively.

    For exceptional team-building skills and fostering camaraderie.

    For demonstrating mastery over attitude and actions.
  • Best Symposium Speaker – Jackson Washington
    For excellence in public speaking and communicating leadership principles.
