In Joy Coffee Shop
In + Joy: Brewing Business, Community and Purpose
In August 2026, Marmion Academy opened In + Joy, a student-run coffee shop designed to give members of Marmion’s DECA team a hands-on opportunity to experience what it takes to start and operate a business.
From developing a concept and building a brand to managing operations, serving customers and making business decisions, In + Joy gives students the opportunity to take what they learn in the classroom and put it into practice. It is a business experience built around creativity, collaboration, leadership and entrepreneurship.
The name In + Joy reflects the heart behind the shop. The plus sign, represented by a cross, symbolizes coming together—with God, with one another and with our community. The shop is intended to be more than a place to grab a cup of coffee. It is a place for conversation, connection and community.

To help bring that vision to life, the DECA team chose to partner with Endiro Coffee, a company whose mission closely aligns with Marmion’s Benedictine values of hospitality, service, community and living faith through action.
Endiro’s vision is to partner with others to end child vulnerability globally through coffee and the people, products, profits, services, spaces and stories connected to its business. Since its founding in 2011, Endiro has worked to make coffee a vehicle for positive and transformational change.
That shared commitment to using business as a force for good made Endiro a natural partner for In + Joy.
Through this partnership, students are learning that successful business is about more than products and profits. It is also about people, relationships, purpose and the impact we can make when we work together.
At In + Joy, students are brewing more than coffee. They are gaining real-world business experience while creating a space where students, faculty and guests can come together, share a conversation and build community.
Come together. Brew good. Share joy.
That is In + Joy.
